About Psych Books 

Psych Books is the publishing imprint of Psych Solutions, a company Dr. O'Connor founded to promote psychological wellness among children, adolescents, young adults, and their families. 

Dr. O'Connor writes, sometimes illustrates, and creates psychology books and resources to foster psychological well-being in children, adolescents, and their families. Her books and other resources serve as catalysts for enhancing positive psychological outcomes for young people and their families. Some provide psycho-educational support to address the various psychological challenges that plague children and their families. Whereas others point to preventive or healing interventions that can enhance a young person's psychological resilience.  While others feature characters who serve as positive role models for children.

Her books fall under the umbrella of "Bibliotherapy," an evidence-based practice that uses books and self-help manuals to help children and adults understand and address psychological concerns. In some instances, bibliotherapy provides a psychoeducational component to  supports evidence-based practice.

1.  Psych Wellness Publishing:  Psych Books Publishing offers books and resources for mental health professionals, parents and other family members to help promote positive psychological outcomes in children, adolescents, young adults and their families.

2.  Psych Experts: Dr. O’Connor also provides various resources/books to serve the best interests of children, adolescents, young adults, and those who work with them in our family courts, educational systems, and other capacities. She publishes these materials through Psych Books Publishing.
